In the past, small businesses had to make important marketing decisions based on guesses and work with very limited resources.

But now, AI technology has changed the game!

With AI, even the smallest companies can go head-to-head with big corporations. You can open up a world of new opportunities to supercharge your marketing efforts — with ChatGPT, a brand new funnel builder we created, chatbots, and lots of other tools.

In this article, we’ll dive into the various ways AI can transform your marketing strategies. You’ll discover practical tips and insights on how to leverage AI to boost your business growth, optimize your marketing campaigns, and achieve a higher return on your investment.

Let’s dive in!

1. Creating and Optimizing Marketing Funnels

Marketing funnels are a series of steps designed to guide potential customers through the buying journey, from initial awareness to final purchase.

These steps can include multiple pages or steps that guide people where you want them to go.

One of the simplest marketing funnels is the squeeze page funnel. It has only two steps — the page for snagging an email address and then the “Thank You” page.

Diagram of a squeeze page funnel showing steps: the squeeze page collects email addresses, followed by a thank you page that includes a sub-headline and a video section.

Here’s an example…

Diagram depicting a "Squeeze Page Funnel" with a "Squeeze Page" on the left offering a free report and a "Thank You Page" on the right showing a video and confirmation message.

Of course, you can create much more complicated and sophisticated funnels (that’s what we help people do at ClickFunnels!)

Like this Webinar funnel for example…

Flowchart showing a webinar funnel process with steps: Webinar Registration, Webinar Confirmed, Webinar Replay, and Indoctrination Pages. Each step has illustrative examples with text and buttons.

It really just depends on what you’re trying to do… get emails, make sales, book calls, or something else.

Now you used to have to create all of this on your own. You’d have to write the copy, create the designs, map out the funnel, and everything else. It took weeks or months.

But now you can do 90% of the work with AI 🙂

In fact, at ClickFunnels, we created an AI funnel builder that will ask you some questions and spit out a functional funnel.

The benefits?

  • No Prior Experience Required: If you’re new to digital marketing, setting up a sales funnel can feel overwhelming. The ClickFunnels Smart Funnel Builder provides step-by-step guidance, making it easy for anyone to create a professional funnel without needing extensive marketing knowledge.
  • Time-Saving: Traditionally, creating a sales funnel involves multiple steps, such as designing pages, writing copy, and setting up integrations. This process can be time-consuming and complex. The Smart AI Funnel Builder automates these tasks, allowing you to create a fully functional funnel in under 15 minutes.
  • Cost-Efficiency: With the Smart Funnel Builder, you get high-quality copywriting and design services included. This means you don’t need to hire additional professionals, saving you significant costs while still ensuring your funnel is effective and visually appealing.

Want to see how it works?

Let’s walk through it together!

Go here and you can start building your AI funnel for free.

As I walk you through this, I’m going to imagine that I’m building a squeeze page for a fitness coach who’s offering a guide to his target audience: busy executives.

Form for creating a business funnel, prompts users to select their role, intention, target audience, and goal. Example selections are "Health Expert," "sell a product or service," "executives," and "get fit.

I’m going to select the “Optin Funnel” — same as the Squeeze Page Funnel. This will allow me to offer a gift to my target market in exchange for their email list. And once they’re on my email list, I can reach out to them whenever I want to for free!

Six types of funnel offers are presented: Optin, Application, Webinar, Summit, Bridge, and Video Series. Each has a brief description and a representative graphic layout.

Then I’ll choose a brand color palette…

…and image style…

An image showing three options for image style: Isometric 3D, Flat Illustrations, and Stock Photo Portrait, with the Flat Illustrations option highlighted.

… and finally, I’ll provide some details about my offer and the style of copy that I want. The more information and details you provide the AI with here, the better job it’ll do of creating a sales funnel for you that makes sense.

Then watch the quick video from Russell if you’re new to ClickFunnels. After that, you can either create a ClickFunnels account for free or login to your existing account.

Once you do, you’ll be able to access your complete AI-built funnel.

You can edit each page, delete, or even add more pages/steps to the funnel. It’s fully customizable but now you have an almost complete funnel that will need only a few tweaks (or none at all!).

2. Website Copy Using AI Writing Tools

Copywriting is a critical component of marketing. Words have the power to persuade potential customers to make a purchase.

However, writing effective copy is a skill that not everyone possesses. Crafting compelling and convincing messages requires expertise and creativity, making it a daunting task for many small business owners.

Now, AI can act as your personal copywriter.

While AI won’t generate copy out of thin air, it can significantly simplify the process once you provide it with detailed information about your product and ideal customer profile (ICP). By doing so, AI tools can offer a variety of copy options, saving you time and effort in the brainstorming process.

Creating Headlines With AI Writing Tools

Using AI writing tools like ChatGPT or Claude, you can generate captivating headlines by giving AI-specific prompts.

For Example:

“You are an expert copywriter hired to promote a new [product or service] that offers [unique selling point]. Create headlines that showcase this USP and make it irresistible to the target audience.”

Additionally, you can guide the AI in creating compelling headlines. Here are some effective headline formulas:

  • [Number] [Adjective] Ways to [Achieve Desired Result] That [Unexpected Benefit or Consequence]
  • How [Unusual or Surprising Tactic] Can Help You [Achieve Desired Outcome] in [Specific Timeframe]
  • The [Adjective] Guide to [Mastering Complex Skill or Topic] for [Target Audience]
  • [Number] [Profession or Industry] Secrets That Will [Benefit or Transform] Your [Aspect of Life]
  • Why [Common Belief or Practice] is [Surprisingly Counterproductive], and What to Do Instead
  • The [Timeframe] Challenge: [Number] Steps to [Achieving Ambitious Goal] While [Overcoming Obstacle]

When using AI to write a headline, it’s important to provide context about your target audience, product, unique selling point, and where you will use the headline.

For instance, to create a headline for a lead magnet landing page offering accounting tips for small businesses, you could use the following prompt:

“Use this headline formula to create a headline for my landing page which offers a free PDF of 5 accounting tips for small businesses’ – [Number] [Adjective] Ways to [Achieve Desired Result] That [Unexpected Benefit or Consequence].”

An example response could be:

“5 Simple Ways to Optimize Your Accounting That Save Time and Boost Profits”

By leveraging AI writing tools, you can streamline the copywriting process, generate a variety of effective headlines, and focus on other critical aspects of your business.

Screenshot of a text box showing a formula for creating headlines and an example headline. The formula is explained in a green box at the top, and the example headline is below it in a white box.

Features and Benefits Section

You can also use it to create the “Features and Benefits” section of your landing page or emails…

For Example…

“Imagine you are writing a features and benefits section for a [product or service] that caters to [target audience]. Identify 8 unique features that address the specific needs and challenges of this audience. For each feature, highlight how it makes their lives easier, more efficient, or more enjoyable. Use relatable examples and scenarios to illustrate the benefits.”

We used it to create features and benefits for a salon run for kids & asked AI to give us the information in a table. Here’s what it produced.

A table listing features and benefits of a children's hair salon, including themed decor, safe chairs, gaming stations, kid-friendly stylists, snacks, rewards program, and at-home haircare tips.

For Product Descriptions

Have an e-commerce store or sell courses or eBooks? You could also use AI to write your product descriptions.

Here’s a prompt to get you started.

  • Write a product description page for a [product type]. It needs to appeal to [audience type]. I want to highlight [features list].

You can also use special tools like copy.ai, or writesonic. They have built-in fields where you enter your data and it will generate content for you.

A user interface for creating product descriptions in an e-commerce platform. The current product is "Green Tea." Options for balance, length, brand voice, and search keywords are visible on the screen.

This is what we did.

We can further chat with it to create more content…

Screenshot of a document editing interface. The document titled "Chatsonic" contains marketing text promoting Chatsonic's organic green tea, highlighting its benefits for busy working professionals seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

Copywriting used to take hours or days. But now it’s a lot quicker with AI. Keep in mind that you won’t get great copy right out of the gate… but with some tweaking and editing, it can make the copywriting process a lot faster.

3. Content Idea Generation and Social Media Posts

One of the most challenging aspects of managing social media is consistently coming up with fresh and engaging ideas. This is essential for standing out, but with all the tasks on your plate, there simply isn’t enough time to brainstorm daily.

Thankfully, AI can assist you with ideation and execution, saving you time and effort.

Generating Social Media Post Ideas With AI

AI can be a valuable tool for generating social media content ideas. By providing specific prompts, you can get a tailored list of post ideas that suit your business needs. Here’s an example prompt:

  • “Act as a social media manager. You’re running a coffee shop in London that caters to young professionals who are remote workers. Create a list of 10 ideas for social media posts to educate, inform, or entertain our target audience.”
A list titled "Answer" contains 10 social media ideas for a coffee shop manager. Ideas include showcasing lattes, remote worker tips, barista scenes, coffee trivia, local spotlights, playlists, customer appreciation, and unique recipes.

Of course, not everything that the AI spits out is going to be worth your time. So how do you know which ideas are actually… good?

Three ways…

  • Assess whether the post idea aligns with your brand’s identity, values, and target audience.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of executing the post idea within your available resources, time, and budget.
  • Assess whether the idea provides value to your audience, such as educating, entertaining, or inspiring them. Choose a mix of three for your week-long or month-long planning. Don’t just stick to one type.

Let’s create a template of that prompt for ya…

  • You are a social media manager for [Business Type] in [Location] that caters to [Target Audience]. Create a list of 10 ideas for social media posts to educate, inform, or entertain your target audience.

And if that’s not getting you the results you want, here are some more prompt ideas…

  1. As a social media coordinator for a small [Service-based Business e.g. salon, repair shop, etc.] catering to [Target Demographic e.g. families, professionals, etc.] in [Location], provide 10 creative social media post concepts that educate customers about your offerings, share helpful tips related to your industry, and encourage interactions.
  2. You are a social media manager for a small [Business Type e.g. restaurant, boutique, etc.] in [Location]. Create a list of 10 social media post ideas that will engage your local customer base, showcase your products/services, and build brand awareness in the community.
  3. You manage social media for a small [Product-based Business e.g. bakery, craft store, etc.] targeting [Target Demographic] in [Location]. List out 10 unique social media post ideas that give a behind-the-scenes look at your business, promote new product launches, and run engaging campaigns or contests to boost sales.

Writing Social Media Posts With AI

AI can also help in writing social media posts: from the ideas we get in the first phase of the process, choose one and ask AI to create content around it.

For Example:

  • “From the social media post ideas you gave me, I want to go ahead with creating Coffee Trivia idea (Engage your audience with fun coffee trivia questions or facts about the history and origins of different coffee beans and brewing methods.)
  • Tell me 3 coffee trivias that are interesting. Don’t give me technical trivias that my audience — young professionals — can’t understand. They’re not coffee experts.”

Here was the output…

Text discussing coffee trivia, including the world's most expensive coffee, historical views on coffee in Europe, and Finland's high coffee consumption.

That was a more detailed prompt. You can see an example of output when you use a simpler prompt. It’s important to keep in mind that if you want to talk to your target audience specifically, make your prompt as detailed as possible.

A message celebrating International Coffee Day, highlighting the joy of different coffee types and encouraging sharing of coffee experiences. Includes hashtags like #InternationalCoffeeDay, #CoffeeLover, and #ButFirstCoffee.

Let’s add some more details to the prompt so we talk to the right audience.

  • “I run a small coffee shop that uses an organic, fair-trade roast from Ethiopia. Our coffees have different notes you can choose from. Could you write an Instagram caption promoting our 10% off deal for International Coffee Day? Our target audience is young professionals who work remotely. Use a friendly tone.”
Announcement of International Coffee Day celebration with a 10% discount on organic, fair-trade coffee from Ethiopia. Includes remote work-friendly suggestions and discount code COFFEELOVE10.

See how much better that result is?

When using AI, the magic happens in the details and information provided — give it as much information as you would give to an actual copywriter and you’ll get better results.

4. Chatbots for 24/7 Customer Support

Even if you own a small business, you probably have a website. And if that website is getting a consistent flow of traffic, then you might be able to benefit from a chatbot to add 24/7 customer support or sales.

AI chatbots are super sophisticated now. They can even provide product recommendations or upsells.

For example, we asked Kayak for recommendations for a family holiday in Europe and it recommended Prague.

Map of Europe highlighting cities recommended for a family vacation. The sidebar features Prague, Czech Republic with a small image of the city and options to find flights.

But we wanted to be more specific this time, so we asked for only beach cities…

A webpage displaying a map of Europe highlighting family-friendly beach destinations. Text on the left side features "Nice, France" as a recommended location, with options to "Find flights" and "Stay here".

Pretty cool, huh?

It’s easy to see how you could use this to your advantage — guiding customers through product features and benefits, or pointing them in the right direction.

Peloton is doing this as well…

A website support page with categorized help topics. A section on the right displays a chatbot answering user queries about Peloton Rentals, along with a label stating, "ALL SYSTEMS OPERATIONAL.

The advantages are numerous…

  • 24/7 availability — serve customers anytime
  • Cost-effective — you already have the content, just need to feed it
  • Scalable — can do the work of hundreds of humans at a time
  • Highly personal — leading to better customer interaction, and more business

5. Create Videos to Boost Engagement

People are watching more video content than ever before. In fact, YouTube is one of the biggest search engines on the planet!

In the awareness stage, engaging videos can capture attention and introduce your brand to potential customers.

During the consideration stage, informative videos can educate and build trust by demonstrating the benefits and features of your products or services.

At the decision stage, testimonial and case study videos can provide social proof and persuade prospects to choose your brand.

Finally, in the retention stage, instructional or behind-the-scenes videos can keep customers engaged and loyal by offering additional value and fostering a deeper connection with your brand.

And now you can create videos with AI!

For example, an e-commerce website can create product demo videos by writing scripts that outline the key features and benefits of each product, letting AI generate visually appealing videos that enhance the shopping experience…

A group of people sitting at a table looking at a laptop screen. The screen displays a webpage titled "Why Your Business Needs Video in 2024: A Strategic Must-Have".

Or you could write the script and let any of the ‘stock’ voices or faces that come with Synthesia do the voice & video for you. Share these as ads, on your social media, or with your sales prospects.

A person in a light blue shirt stands on the left. On the right, a digital interface displays various avatars with options to replace the avatar with different characters.

What’s not to like?

  • You get a diverse range of content without the need for hiring voice actors or on-screen talent.
  • By using AI-generated voices and faces that align with your target audience, you can create more relatable and personalized video content for your website, fostering a stronger connection with your visitors and increasing the likelihood of conversions.

What’s Coming Next With AI?

I can’t tell the future — but I imagine the future of AI is bright… and that it’ll massively benefit small businesses.

Because it lowers the cost and effort to be able to tackle big marketing campaigns.

Above are some of the current ways you can use AI in your small business. But I’m sure there are others!

It’s probably safe to say that AI is going to revolutionize marketing.

You need to learn how to harness the power of artificial intelligence if you want your business to remain competitive. There’s no way around that.

That being said, we have seen too many companies hop on the AI hype train without putting much thought into it.

This haphazard approach often leads to creating a bunch of new problems without solving the existing ones. AI can turn out to be a net negative if you don’t know what you are doing.

That’s why today we want to discuss how to create an AI marketing strategy that will enable you to take your business to the next level!

A Word of Caution About Generative AI…

Generative AI is all the rage now. And for a good reason!

Tools such as large language models, text-to-image generators, and text-to-video generators can help you produce the first drafts of your marketing assets in a matter of minutes.

But if you want to use them in your business, you need to understand the phenomenon known as “hallucinations”

Large language models sometimes just make things up and confidently state them as facts.

For example, if you ask a large language model like ChatGPT to give you an overview of scientific research on a specific subject, it might make up scientists and papers that do not exist or provide incorrect information about real scientists and real papers.

This means that you cannot publish content generated by large language models without manually fact-checking all claims within it. Otherwise, you risk unintentionally spreading misinformation and damaging your brand as a result.

Meanwhile, when it comes to text-to-image generators and text-to-video generators, the output of these tools might include details that shouldn’t be there.

For example, here’s a real photo of Scotland’s famous Glenfinnan Viaduct bridge:

A scenic view of a viaduct with multiple arches, spanning across a lush green valley and surrounded by rolling hills under a partly cloudy sky.

If you ask a text-to-image or a video-to-image generator to include a video of this bridge in their output, you might get something that looks similar but isn’t quite right.

For example, here’s a screenshot from a video generated by Sora that depicts the Glenfinnan Viaduct:

Steam locomotive with a plume of smoke pulling vintage red and cream passenger cars, traveling on a curved stone viaduct surrounded by green hills.

If you published an image or a video like that, Scottish people in your audience would probably wonder why there’s an additional railway on this iconic bridge.

Spotting hallucinations in AI-generated images and videos can be challenging because it requires attention to detail. But you should still do your best to ensure accuracy.

Note that complete marketing automation won’t be possible until hallucinations are solved. The unreliability of these tools means that there still needs to be at least one human in the process that can evaluate their output!

Now with all that out of the way, let’s discuss the AI marketing strategy that we recommend…

AI Marketing Strategy for New Businesses

Let’s say that you want to start an online business.

In that case, we recommend using AI to help you brainstorm ideas, build a sales funnel, produce marketing content, create marketing visuals, and grow your social media following. That is all you need to get your new business off the ground!

Brainstorm With ChatGPT

Image of a chatbot interface with a prompt asking for ideas for a customer loyalty program in a small bookstore. The screen has options to log in or sign up along with the “Get started” text.

Entrepreneurs often get stuck in the ideation phase.

In fact, there are a lot of people out there who want to start an online business but don’t know what to sell!

We would argue that the best way to use ChatGPT in the business context is brainstorming.

You can ask it to help you come up with ideas for a brand name, products and services, upsells, cross sells and downsells, marketing campaigns, etc.

In all likelihood, the majority of ChatGPT’s ideas won’t be helpful. Some might even be nonsensical due to hallucinations.

(To be fair, when we humans do brainstorming all by ourselves, we typically end up needing to discard most of our own ideas as well!)

However, ChatGPT can help you drastically speed up the ideation process. Coming up with 100 ideas by yourself can take a lot of time but large language models can do it in a matter of seconds. Even if 99 of those ideas are garbage, the one idea that’s actually viable can help you grow your business!

Note that ChatGPT has several different versions: GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and GPT-4o. We recommend using the latter for brainstorming. Why?

Because it’s the latest version that is lightyears ahead of the previous ones. There’s a huge difference in capabilities.

Both the free plan and the paid plan only offer limited access to GPT-4o but the latter has 5x higher usage limits.

Build Sales Funnels With ClickFunnels

Promotional image for ClickFunnels, advertising their service to convert website visitors into paying customers. Features a "Start Your Free Trial Today" call-to-action button.

Here at ClickFunnels, we believe that the best way to sell products and services online is to build a sales funnel for your business and then drive traffic to it with targeted marketing campaigns.

Entrepreneurs tend to agree with our reasoning, especially once they read our co-founder Russell Brunson’s best-selling book.

But we noticed that they often never get around to actually building sales funnels. As a result, they end up leaving a ton of money on the table, especially as their companies grow!

Initially, it seemed baffling, but eventually, we realized that it all boiled down to feeling overwhelmed. If you have never built a sales funnel before, it might seem like a daunting task. And you know what? It’s understandable!

That’s why we decided to add an AI sales funnel builder to our platform. Now all you need to do is answer a few questions, click the “Create Funnel Now” button, and wait for AI to generate a sales funnel for you. It typically takes around 10-15 minutes.

This means that you can build a sales funnel for your business today if you want to, even if you have never done it before!

Create Marketing Content With Jasper

Screenshot of Jasper's website showcasing AI-driven marketing solutions, featuring a call to action to start a free trial, and displaying client logos such as Monday, Amplitude, and Wayfair.

You might be wondering why we recommended ChatGPT for brainstorming but not for content creation. After all, it can generate text, right?

It’s because there are other tools out there that have been designed specifically for the purpose of producing marketing content.

We recommend the AI marketing platform Jasper. It makes it easy to produce social media posts, blog articles, cold outreach emails, marketing emails, landing page copy, sales page copy, ad copy, and more.

One notable feature is the brand knowledge database where you can store information about your products and services, your target audience, your brand voice, etc.

You only need to upload all this information once and then Jasper will be able to get the relevant details from this database whenever you ask it to generate marketing content for your business.

This means that you won’t have to repeat the same stuff every time you are using this app. Plus, there will be less need for editing because this database will help Jasper stay on-brand.

Another notable feature is campaign generation. You can upload a document that describes a marketing campaign and Jasper will generate the whole thing for you, including all the marketing assets.

And sure, you will probably need to make some adjustments and do some editing before you launch that campaign, but being able to generate entire marketing campaigns just like that can help you save a ton of time.

Finally, this app also includes team collaboration features, so if you want to launch an omnichannel marketing campaign where different people are responsible for different channels, you can make it happen with Jasper!

Create Marketing Visuals With Firefly

A promotional image for Adobe Firefly showing its AI capabilities with visual examples. Text encourages use of generative AI and simple prompts to create high-quality images. "Get Firefly free" button and "Generate" button included.

While you can use Jasper to create marketing visuals such as ad images, social media images, and blog post images, we recommend going with Adobe’s Firefly instead. Why?

Because not only is it an amazing text-to-image generator that you can easily integrate with other tools in Adobe’s software suite but it’s also been trained exclusively on licensed data and public domain data with expired copyright.

That means that you can use the images produced with this tool without worrying about copyright infringement.

Keep in mind that there’s a possibility that lawmakers will eventually start cracking down on the companies that train their text-to-image generators on unlicensed data scraped from the Internet.

In that case, the users of those products would likely be affected as well. It might become illegal to use images created with them for commercial purposes.

Of course, no one knows what the future holds, but we believe that it’s best to play it safe. Why introduce unnecessary legal risks when you can simply use Firefly instead?

Grow Your Social Media Following With Flick

Screenshot of Flick's website highlighting their AI-powered social media management features, including scheduling, hashtags, caption writing, and analytics with a "Get Started for Free" button.

Social media marketing is a type of marketing that is the most accessible to entrepreneurs who are just starting out.

All you need to do is choose a platform, create a social media profile, and consistently post high-quality content.

Of course, all that is easier said than done because life tends to get in the way. Next thing you know, you haven’t posted in six months and your social media profile looks like a ghost town.

We would argue that this lack of consistency is the primary reason why entrepreneurs fail at social media marketing.

That’s why we recommend Flick, an AI-powered social media marketing platform that enables you to generate ideas, produce content, and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.

Simply batch-create social media content for an entire month in a single day and schedule it to be published automatically.

That way, no matter what curveballs life throws at you, your social media publishing schedule will remain unaffected!

AI Marketing Strategy for Growing Businesses

Okay, so you managed to get your business off the ground, you are consistently making sales and your revenue is steadily increasing. What should you do next?

It appears that people across the globe prefer the video medium over everything else, as evidenced by the growth of YouTube and TikTok in recent years.

In fact, video content is playing an increasingly important role even on social media platforms that used to be almost entirely text or image-driven, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.

That’s why we recommend incorporating video marketing into your overall marketing strategy once you start making some money with your business!

Generate Videos With Visla

A screenshot of Visla's Text to Video tool on a website. The tool uses AI to transform written content into videos, suitable for eBooks, articles, and product documents.

Did you know that you don’t even need actual video footage to produce videos with AI?

Visla offers an AI text-to-video generator that you can use to turn text prompts, blog articles, video scripts, product documents, and even entire eBooks into videos!

It’s also worth noting that this app also includes a wide range of video recording and editing features as well as a team collaboration functionality which makes it easy for several people to work on the same video.

Edit Videos With Descript

A webpage with a header displaying "If you can edit text, you can make videos," and navigation links for features, pricing, and resources. There's a sign-in and sign-up option at the top right.

Something that people who don’t have video production experience tend to underestimate is how much editing is required to create a video that’s good enough to be published.

In fact, video editing used to be a real pain because industry-standard tools like Adobe’s Premier and Apple’s Final Cut Pro have a steep learning curve.

Fortunately, AI tools like Descript have drastically simplified the video editing process and made it accessible to everyone.

Descript’s most notable feature is text-to-video editing. Basically, if you know how to edit a text document in Google Docs, then you can easily edit videos with this app.

For example, if you want to cut something out, you can simply delete it from the video transcript and it will be removed from the footage as well.

You can also use this tool to edit audio files the same way, which is great for those who have audio-only podcasts or want to clean up audio that they intend to overlay on video footage.

Repurpose Long-Form Videos With Opus Clip

Screenshot of OpusClip website showing features of their AI video clipping tool, including a slogan and an image of two people in a discussion. Options to upload a video and sign up are visible.

The best video marketing strategy appears to be publishing long-form videos on YouTube and then repurposing them into short clips that you can publish on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Repurposing long-form videos used to be a tedious process:

You had to watch the entire video, identify the best moments, cut them out, turn them into cohesive short clips, spice them up with some visual effects, and add captions to them before publishing.

Now an AI tool like Opus Clip can do all that for you in less than 10 minutes. Simply upload a video or provide a link to it and it will produce a bunch of short clips.

You will probably still have to do some manual editing before you can publish them. But that shouldn’t take too much time with Opus Clip editing features that were designed specifically for editing short-form video content!

AI Marketing Strategy for Established Businesses

Once your business is established, it’s time to start using AI for data analysis and brand management.

Make Data-Driven Decisions With Tableau

Screenshot of Tableau's website showcasing their data analytics platform with a text slogan, product options, and a view of the interface displaying a world map and various data visualizations.

You probably have a ton of historical data.

You can use AI-powered business analytics software to analyze it so that you can optimize various business processes. That can help you increase your sales, revenue, and profit.

Also, once you have a solid business analytics system in place, it will help you make data-driven decisions going forward.

Finally, while business analytics apps aren’t crystal balls, they can help you improve the accuracy of your sales forecasting.

We recommend Tableau. It’s a powerful AI tool that enables you to take advantage of various machine learning techniques developed specifically for data analysis!

Learn From Customer Feedback With MonkeyLearn

Screenshot of MonkeyLearn's No-Code Text Analytics dashboard displaying various data visualizations and text analysis tools for customer feedback powered by AI.

When you are just starting out, it’s easy to keep track of customer feedback and learn from it, even if you are receiving it via several different channels.

But as your business grows, so does the volume of social media comments, customer emails and support tickets.

By the time your business is established, it becomes impossible to manually keep track of it all, much less analyze it and learn from it.

MonkeyLearn is an app that enables you to use a machine learning technique called text analysis to analyze, monitor, and learn from customer feedback.

It can help you improve your product or service, provide better customer support, and create more effective marketing campaigns!

Manage Your Brand Image With Brand24

Screenshot of Brand24 webpage featuring a social listening tool tagline, sign-up button, and interface preview. Logos of popular brands like Uber and McCann are displayed at the bottom.

It’s true that when you are just starting out a few bad reviews can tank your business.

However, at that stage, you are doing everything yourself, so you are probably aware of disgruntled customers. You can reach out to them directly and do your best to resolve whatever it is that they are unhappy about.

As your business grows, keeping track of disgruntled customers manually becomes impossible because of the sheer number of people that your company is serving.

Meanwhile, the viral nature of social media means that one person venting on Twitter can quickly escalate into a full-blown PR nightmare.

And the more well-known your company is, the more likely that is to happen.

Think about it:

No one cares if someone had a bad experience at an independent vacation house rental in a popular tourist destination. But if they complain about AirBnB? Everyone will jump in with their own AirBnB horror stories!

AirBnB is a good cautionary tale here because it shows that it doesn’t matter how dominant your company appears to be – if your customers are unhappy, eventually, it’s going to catch up with you. People who used to love the idea of renting apartments while traveling are rediscovering hotels!

That’s why brand management is so important for established businesses. You want to do everything you can to spot problems early on and address them immediately so that they won’t snowball until they get completely out of control.

Brand24 is an AI-powered social media listening tool that can help you do that. You can use it to monitor and analyze brand mentions. There’s also a feature that allows you to set up custom alerts so that you would get notified if something important happens and be able to respond quickly.

We recommend creating a new customer support role dedicated to brand management. That person should get notified about negative brand mentions and immediately reach out to the disgruntled customers, hear them out, and take measures to resolve their problems.

For example, if this customer support agent gets notified that someone is complaining about your product or service on Twitter, they should DM that person, ask them what happened, apologize for whatever it was that went wrong, thank them for their feedback, and give them a free voucher. That might be all it takes to de-escalate the situation.

The truth is that protecting your brand image is pretty straightforward if you are willing to allocate resources to it. Yes, having a full-time employee whose entire focus is brand management is expensive but it can help you avoid a ton of negative publicity!

But the exciting thing is that AI isn’t just for the tech giants. Businesses of all sizes can leverage AI marketing software to gain a competitive edge!

According to a survey from the Digital Marketing Institute, the number one way marketers and businesses are using AI is for the automation of routine tasks. What is AI Marketing Software?

AI marketing software refers to digital tools that are enhanced by artificial intelligence, allowing them to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence.

The nature of this software is complex and can feel overwhelming, but chances are you’ve already encountered AI in marketing without even realizing it.

Take Amazon, for example.

Since the early 2000s, Amazon has been using AI technology to provide personalized product suggestions to its customers. This feature uses data from your past purchases and browsing history to recommend products you’re likely to be interested in, enhancing your shopping experience.

Screenshot of an Amazon page showing recommended items based on recent views. Products include memory cards, network devices, various books, and other electronics with prices and ratings displayed.

Another example is Facebook. In 2017, Facebook started allowing developers to build AI-powered chatbots. These chatbots help businesses initiate more conversations with customers without the significant time investment typically required for such engagement.

Screenshot of a Facebook Messenger chat with a ClickFunnels bot. The conversation starts with the bot introducing itself and asking the user about their ClickFunnels usage. The user responds they are not a user, and the bot asks what is holding their business back.

In the early 2000s and 2010s, the use of AI in marketing was mostly restricted to companies with large budgets or cutting-edge developers.

However, the landscape has changed dramatically.

With the launch of user-friendly AI software like ChatGPT, there has been an explosion of AI-powered marketing tools that are accessible to everyone.

Even better, many of these tools are free at their most basic level, which means businesses of all sizes can take advantage of them. There are now thousands of tools specifically designed to help with various marketing tasks, from content creation and email marketing to customer service and data analysis.

This list will cover some of the most popular AI marketing tools available today…

  1. Smart Funnels — Build your sales funnels in just 10 minutes with an AI by just answering a few questions.
  2. Jasper — Helps with content creation, including blog posts, social media content, and marketing copy.
  3. Surfer SEO — Analyzes SERPs, provides insights on relevant keywords, and offers suggestions to improve content quality and rankings.
  4. Canva — Offers templates, stock photos, and easy editing tools for creating visually appealing content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
  5. Looka — Looka is an AI-powered logo design tool that helps businesses create professional brand identities.

However, it’s worth noting that there’s likely a tool out there for almost any marketing-related task you’re currently spending time on.

Whether you’re looking to automate routine tasks, enhance your customer interactions, or optimize your marketing strategies, AI can help you achieve your goals more efficiently.

Benefits of Using AI in Marketing

The core benefit of AI is that it helps business owners and marketers work faster. Any digital work that is repetitive, time-consuming, or based on patterns is ripe for being replaced by AI.

But that’s not the only way you can use AI software in your marketing.

Here’s what the Digital Marketing Institute found were the most popular ways businesses are leveraging AI, according to their survey:

  1. Automation of Routine Tasks (68%) AI excels at automating repetitive tasks, freeing up your time to focus on more strategic activities. For instance, AI can handle tasks like scheduling social media posts, sending out email newsletters, and managing customer support queries. By automating these routine tasks, you can ensure consistency and efficiency in your marketing efforts.
  2. Improved Customer Experience (46%) AI-powered tools can significantly enhance the customer experience by providing personalized and timely responses. For example, chatbots can handle customer inquiries 24/7, offering instant support and freeing up human agents to tackle more complex issues. This leads to faster resolution times and higher customer satisfaction.
  3. Improved Targeting and Segmentation (45%) AI can analyze vast amounts of data to identify patterns and segment your audience more effectively. This allows you to create more targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific segments of your audience, ultimately driving higher engagement and conversion rates.
  4. Enhanced Personalization (44%) Personalization is key to modern marketing, and AI can help you deliver personalized content and offers at scale. By analyzing customer behavior and preferences, AI can recommend products, create tailored content, and send personalized emails that are more likely to convert.
  5. Predictive Analysis (39%) AI’s predictive analysis capabilities enable you to forecast future trends and behaviors based on historical data. This can help you make more informed decisions about your marketing strategies, optimize your campaigns, and anticipate customer needs before they arise.

You may not know it, but there could be a perfect AI tool that instantly saves you hours each week or month. Or, you could find an AI tool that dramatically improves the performance of your marketing.

  • Prompt Engineering: The quality of the output depends heavily on the quality of your prompts. Spend time crafting detailed and specific prompts to get the best results.

The use cases for ChatGPT are virtually endless, making it a versatile tool in any marketer’s toolkit. By integrating ChatGPT into your workflow, you can enhance productivity and focus more on strategic tasks.

By leveraging the power of AI tools like Jasper.ai and ChatGPT, you can streamline your content creation process, improve the quality of your marketing materials, and ultimately achieve better results in less time.

You’ve long had a dream—a burning desire. The dream to be your own boss. To call the shots. It’s been with you since you can remember. It’s the dream of freedom. The freedom to work from home or on the road. The freedom to have more time to spend with loved ones. To make money—real money—so that you can finally exit survival mode. But this dream of yours is dwindling. Fading. It’s disappearing slowly into the abyss. And with each passing day, this dream of taking life by the horns and being your own boss is dying a slow and steady death.

But it’s never too late to turn your dreams into reality. It’s never too late to decide one moment that enough is enough. It only takes a single instant. In that instant, life can change forever. In that instant, you can make a decision. A decision that enough is enough. One that triggers a chain reaction to finally extricate yourself from a depleting 9-to-5 job. It only takes an instant to decide to start a business. A real business. One that allows you to make money in your sleep or while traveling the world. A business that allows you to be your own boss and finally call the shots.

Picture that for a moment. Freedom. True freedom. It’s not a pipe dream. It can be your reality—anyone’s reality. As long as you want it badly enough. But that doesn’t mean you’ll up and quit your day job tomorrow. It doesn’t mean you can just throw all your obligations to the wind, right? What would you do? Where would you start? How can you build a business working from home? One that can make you enough money to not just survive but to thrive? One that can help you cover your bills and finally give you a chance to breathe again?

How to Work From Home

Most dream of working from home. But most don’t know where to begin. What type of business would you start? How would you make money? Would you sell a product or a service? Where do you even begin? The answer is this. Find a way to solve a problem that someone is experiencing. Solve that problem so well that people flock to you for the solution. It has to be a problem big enough that people are willing to pay you handsomely to solve it. We’re not talking about tiny problems here. Everyone can solve tiny problems.

The bigger the problem you can solve the more money you can make. It doesn’t matter if you’re working from an office or your home. It doesn’t matter where you live or where you’re from. What matters is your ability to solve that problem. That’s where you begin. You begin at the intersection of the problem. What type of problems can you solve? Where do your skills begin and end? This isn’t about just having the confidence to solve the problem. You must actually be able to solve it and solve it well. And the better you can solve it the more money you can make.

The best part is this. You can typically solve problems from anywhere. It doesn’t require you to be in a specific location to solve a problem. That’s the beauty of working from home. The Internet allows us the freedom to live and work anywhere. That’s not the hard part. The hard part is defining the problem and finding the people experiencing that problem. Then, you must convince those people that you can actually solve their problem. But if you can do that then you have yourself a business. It all starts there. Pick the problem and find the people experiencing that problem. Then go all in.

Landing pages are an important part of any business. But most companies struggle with creating high-converting landing pages. Landing pages must look nice and be easy to consume. That’s because they’re at the basis of every critical business operation. Landing pages are part of every process that a company has to attract, convert, and retain its customers. Go above and beyond. Give them all the knowledge and tools they could need to solve that problem. If you can do that, you can succeed with online courses.

5—Membership Sites

You can build a business working from home by creating a membership site. Take a topic or a specific problem that people are experiencing and create a membership site around that. Membership sites are constantly updated with fresh content and new information. They take time and energy. But it’s worthwhile because membership sites deliver recurring revenue. Customers pay month after month without fail. That means you’ll spend less time finding new customers. Instead, you’ll spend more time delivering value to existing customers.

6—Email Marketing Business

Email marketing is vital in business. If you’re not marketing via email you’re wasting your time. But the problem is this. Most companies are bad at email marketing. They don’t know what it takes to make money with emails. But the truth is that email marketing takes effort. It takes storytelling. And it takes being vulnerable with your audience. Is it easy? No. But it is well worth it. If you’re a good writer, you can help other companies make money in email marketing. Many don’t invest enough in email marketing. But emails offer the highest return on investment of any marketing activity.

7—Copywriting

Copywriting is a high-level skill that can make you money from home. The top copywriters in the world get paid a lot of money to produce high-level copy. That’s why this makes a great business model. Especially if you’re a good copywriter. Copywriting is different than writing because the skill zeros in on conversions. You must be able to speak to the prospect and their problem. The best copywriting identifies the problem and agitates it before presenting a solution. And it does it in a way that helps convey that their solution not only works for others but will also work for them.

8—Digital Products

Digital products come in all shapes and flavors. They can vary by medium and format. Some digital products can be cheat sheets or checklists. Others can be tools or video series. But the real draw of digital products is that they’re digital. They require no manufacturing or production time aside from creating it once. After you’ve created a digital product you can sell it again and again. Your inventory is virtually limitless. And as long as those digital products solve real problems, you can make money selling them day and night. That’s why digital products make a great work-from-home business idea.

11—Web Developer

Many web developers earn a lot of money because this skill is in high demand. It’s easy to build a web development business from home. That’s because it doesn’t require you to be physically present. Most web developers work remotely and deal with clients halfway around the world. To find clients, use some of the popular freelancing websites like Upwork and Freelancer. You’ll need to secure great reviews and feedback to succeed. So it will take you time. But if you’re a web developer, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be working for yourself.

12—Bookkeeper

Every business needs bookkeeping. If you’re good with numbers, consider setting this up as a home-based business. Bookkeeping doesn’t require tons of many hours. Especially when you’re working with small businesses. You can launch a bookkeeping business on a shoestring budget and promote it with a simple lead generation funnel. Stick to one specific type of client such as business owners. Bookkeeping also provides recurring revenue because every business needs its books looked after regularly. If you know how to use the prevailing software platforms, even better.

13—Business Flipper

Did you know that you can go out there and buy businesses only to later resell them? Yes. You can flip all kinds of businesses. And it doesn’t require a huge amount of upfront capital. That doesn’t mean you’ll acquire a business for free. You can if you’re savvy but I wouldn’t count on it. But you can use existing platforms like Flippa or Empire Flippers to find existing businesses that are cash-flowing. Once you acquire the business you can enhance its sales and marketing to increase its revenue. Then, you can turn around and resell the business. You can also buy boring businesses and other small businesses in your local area.

14—Coaching

If you’re an expert in your field consider coaching others. This is a great business to run from home. You can either choose group coaching and take the one-to-many approach or you can do private coaching. To scale your coaching business, you must reach as many people as you can at the same time. To do that you will need an application funnel. An application funnel allows you to accept applications from people looking to work with you. They’ll fill out a form and pre-qualify themselves. Then, you can weed through anyone who doesn’t fit your criteria.

15—Consulting

Consultants help others solve problems by taking a hands-on approach. Some consultants solve the problem for the customer. Others provide a solution that the customer can implement. Either way, you must be good at solving specific types of problems for specific types of people. Can you make money as a consultant working from home? Yes. You can consult virtually or provide a service that helps businesses or individuals solve problems. And you can do it on the Internet and meet virtually. To attract clients, create an in-depth lead magnet and place it inside of a lead generation funnel. Then, drive traffic to that funnel by posting on social media, creating videos, blogging, and running ads.

16—Video Editing

The world is turning to video. It’s the medium of choice today. And platforms everywhere are embracing video. That gives video editors a great opportunity to create a work-from-home business doing video editing. If you’re at all interested in video editing, you should consider this. It doesn’t mean you need to be a creative genius. You only need to understand how to edit videos the right way. Video editing involves storytelling and understanding how to make a video flow and be engaging. It’s not always simple. But with practice, almost anyone can get very good at this.

17—Graphic Designer

You’re in luck if you’re a graphic designer and you want to work from home. That’s because every company needs graphic design services. That’s also why you can quickly build a graphic design business working from anywhere. Carve out a good niche and focus on that one area. For example, if you’re really good at designing logos then focus on that. If you’re great at doing brochures, then offer that. Stick to one specific service as your base-level service then build everything else up over that.

18—Webinar Builder

Webinars are presentations designed to help sell premium products and high-ticket services. These presentations allow you to break false beliefs. False beliefs are the stories that we tell ourselves that hold us back from buying things. They’re based on our experiences and beliefs. All beliefs are formed over time. But those beliefs can stand in the way of purchasing a particular product or service. Webinars help to break those false beliefs by replacing them with new stories. Many companies understand the power of webinars but don’t know where to start. You can learn how to structure the perfect webinar here.

19—Self-Published Author

You can be a self-published author in an instant. You don’t need approval or permission from anyone. All you need to do is learn how to write a book. If you want that book to sell, it must be well-written and engaging. But anyone can become a self-published author. All you need is to create an account at Kindle Direct Publishing. Simply publish a book there on any topic. Research topics that are in demand and create a great book that solves a real problem. The best part? You can make money as an author in your sleep or while traveling. You can do it from home or abroad. It’ll take time but it’ll be well worth the wait.

20—Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a skill that drives highly relevant organic traffic to websites. Most companies spend a lot of money on ads to drive traffic. That’s what makes SEO a very sought-after service. It’s free and organic. If you’re good at SEO, consider providing this as a service for companies who need it most. But don’t provide the service before you really understand how to do SEO the right. Not by cutting corners or using shady tricks to rank. Real SEO must be done the right way.

21—Paid Search Engine Marketing

Another work-from-home business you can do is paid search engine marketing. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is a service that involves running and managing paid ads. Paid ads are used to drive traffic, generate leads and make sales. Every company runs paid ads to some extent. If you understand the various ad platforms, you could offer this as a service. If you’re really good at it, you could make a lot of money fast. That’s because successful ads can directly impact a company’s bottom line fast.

22—ATM Business

ATMs are everywhere. That’s because people still need cash. And sometimes ATMs aren’t easy to find in certain places. That’s what makes ATM businesses so lucrative. When you place an ATM in the right location you can make a lot of money. ATMs pay out a percentage of the transaction. It’s baked into the fee. So if you can place an ATM in the right location, it might generate thousands of transactions weekly. And you can find many ATM providers you can work with. All you need to do is find the right location and strike a deal with the business owner to place the ATM there.

23—Vending Machines

Vending machines offer another great opportunity for working from home. That’s because vending machine businesses have a low barrier to entry. Most vending machines do not cost that much money. And if you put it in the right location they can generate profit immediately. That doesn’t mean the business is easy. It only means that the process is simple. You’ll need to find the right locations. You’ll also need to provide timely restocking.

24—Live Streamer

Live streaming is increasingly popular today. You can use many platforms to do it. Kick, Twitch, TikTok, and other platforms are used heavily by live streamers to make money. Live streaming means that you’re live and in front of your camera. That could be at your desktop or your phone. It takes time to build an audience and make money live streaming. You also must be entertaining and engaging to hold your audience’s attention for long periods.

25—Network Marketing

Network marketing is an industry that sometimes gets a bad rap. However, network marketing is a great way to make money while working from home. This is ideal for stay-at-home moms or dads who are at home most of the time. It’s very similar to affiliate marketing except it is often structured a little bit differently. While the top earners do make a lot of money, most others struggle with network marketing. That doesn’t mean you won’t succeed. But if you already have a list or an audience of some type somewhere, you’ll have a big advantage over others.

26—Automation Guru

Various systems exist in business today. They’re used concurrently to generate leads and make sales. Sometimes those systems are not designed to talk to one another. Other times employees must bring all that data into one repository to track key performance metrics. If you understand how to make systems speak to each other, you could become an automation guru. You could use systems like Zapier to integrate systems and automatically bring that data into places like Google Sheets. Find a way to create a valuable lead magnet around this problem to attract the right type of clients. Then, sell them your automation services.

27—Dog Walker

A simple work-from-home job or business is a dog walker. You can use popular apps like Rover to find clients with ease. People adore their dogs but don’t always have the time to spend walking them. They have busy schedules and lots of things going on. That’s what makes this such an attractive niche. The work is simple and you can find recurring clients with ease. If people are happy with your service, they’ll hire you again and again. This can also lead to things like pet sitting while dog parents are away on vacation. Set up an account on Rover and start hunting for clients today.

28—Care Giver

Caregivers provide services to others in need. For example, you could babysit for parents with small children, provide elderly care, and more. You could also do house sitting and various other things. To start as a caregiver, you can register on a site like Care.com. This gives you access to clients in need of care. You’ll need to gather great feedback and ratings to get the best gigs. And you’ll need to pass background checks on most platforms before you can provide these services. But it is well worth it. That’s because it’s an easy work-from-home business you can start in a single weekend.

29—Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a great business to start. Especially when you have an existing audience. If you have an email list you can use it to make money as an affiliate. If you don’t have an email list but you have an audience elsewhere, you can still succeed with affiliate marketing. For example, if you have a large following on TikTok or Instagram, it can help you get your message out to the right people. Even then, you must approach affiliate marketing with caution. Be careful not to spam affiliate links. You should use a bridge funnel and offer a free lead magnet to attract people into your world. Then, begin building rapport with email marketing. Eventually, you can start promoting affiliate offers. But not before delivering some value first.

30—Print-on-Demand

Print-on-demand (POD) businesses are very popular today. Two platforms exist that enable you to sell POD products. Those are Printful and Printify. POD is a great way to work from home because all you need to do is create the designs for the products. You don’t need to do the printing or embroidering. There’s no warehousing or shipping. You simply create the designs and ensure you find people to buy those products. The POD platform does everything else. And you take the profit as your pay. This is ideal for merchandising and brands to quickly roll out apparel and other items with their imagery.

31—Amazon Private Label Business

Everyone knows that Amazon is the world’s largest store. They have countless products for sale and generate untold amounts of money in sales. But not everyone knows that 60% of those products are sold by third-party sellers. They make up the bulk of products on Amazon. And the best part is this. Almost anyone can launch an Amazon private-label business. Private Label simply means that you’re creating a brand of products sold on Amazon. You’re not reselling existing products. To do this, you need to have a great product idea, produce the inventory, ship it to Amazon, then start selling it. Is it easy? Nope. You need to collect reviews, run Amazon PPC ads, and manage inventory. It takes time and effort. But in the long run it is worth it.

32—Online Tutoring

Today, you can tutor people from around the world online. You can do it from the comfort of your home or while traveling abroad. Online tutoring allows you to teach a skill or another language to others and get paid for doing it. If you’re skilled in a specific subject or know a musical instrument, then consider doing online tutoring. You can use any of the popular online tutoring websites out there. Tutor.com, Varsity Tutors, and many others exist. They all allow you to tutor students in a variety of different areas. You’ll need to gather great reviews and feedback to get the best gigs. And you’ll need a good internet connection wherever you might be.

33—Freelancer

You can build an entire work-from-home business as a freelancer. And you can make a lot of money doing it. Freelancing means that you do remote jobs for people working from home. It allows you to make money from your laptop. You can do all types of freelancing. Whatever your skill level is and whatever area you can think of, there’s an opportunity to freelance there. You can use Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and many other platforms to find clients. You’ll need to hustle in the beginning. But that’s just like everything else. Stick to it and you can turn this into a real business.

We’re in the midst of a revolution. A seismic shift. It’s been underway for years now. But the pace of change has intensified. And the meaning of work is no longer the same as it used to be. Thanks to this thing we call the Internet, we can find remote jobs at some of the top companies in the world while living anywhere we please.

We no longer have to suffer or sacrifice for a standard of living that doesn’t meet our expectations. We no longer have to commute for hours a day just have a decent place to live. Nope. Not at all. Today, we can easily find remote jobs that allow us to make money working from home or while traveling the world. You can be on a tropical island and sink your feet in warm sugary-white sands, or be on a farm in a rural village halfway across the world. It doesn’t matter.

The Internet delivers convenience and real-time communications to people everywhere. That means we can work remote jobs and live in a place that affords us a higher standard of living. But what does it mean to work a remote job? And how do you find the best work-from-home jobs or work-from-abroad jobs out there?

The truth? An endless number of remote jobs exist that allow us to work from home and make money online from anywhere. But how hard is it to find these jobs? And how do you set yourself apart from others who are vying for the same positions? I won’t sit here and tell you that it’s easy. But it is simple. The one thing you must understand is that remote jobs require discipline. If you don’t have the discipline to work remotely, you’ll find it hard to stay on track and get your work done.

What is a Remote Job?

Remote jobs allow you to work from anywhere in almost any occupation. Today, remote jobs are more common than not. In fact, most of the best organizations have entire teams of skilled remote workers. After all, most work today doesn’t require you to be physically present. Since almost every business system originates online, you can do your job working from home or abroad in almost every industry & niche.

Most people think that remote jobs offer low pay. But that’s not the case. In fact, some of the top remote jobs pay a higher salary than some of their on-location counterparts. Why? It’s because some of the top talent in the world get to pick and choose where they want to work. And sometimes, they can’t easily be in the physical location where the company is located.

Working remotely is an advantage. Not a disadvantage. You just need to know where to look for the best remote jobs. It’s not just about working from home. Today, we want the freedom to work while traveling and to make money from our phones. It’s that laptop lifestyle that has us fixated on seeing the world. After all, life isn’t slowing down for us one bit, right?

How to Find Remote Jobs

You can find remote jobs on many of the popular job platforms. For example, you can use Indeed to find work-from-home jobs. You can also use Monster Jobs, Zip Recruiter, Flex Jobs, LinkedIn and more. You can even use X.com’s new job search system, which gives you access to millions of jobs. And you can also use your social media accounts to let people know that you’re open to work.

However, you don’t need to search on your own. You can also easily find headhunters to help you find great remote jobs. Headhunters get paid on performance. And depending on the type of job you’re looking for, that often means a lot of money for the headhunter. But it also gives you peace of mind and allows you to rest and relax feeling assured that someone is out there searching for you.

Should You Work a Remote Job or Work for Yourself?

Most people can’t imagine working for themselves. They can’t imagine being self-employed. But so many people are doing it. And successfully. Remote jobs can be rewarding when you can find the right one. If you can’t, it’ll seem like a struggle. That’s why working for yourself should always be on the table. The question is, what kind of business would you start?

It all depends on your skills. I won’t tell you what type of business you should start. I would only tell you to go where the money flows. Where are people spending the most amount of money? What problems can you solve at a high level that people will be willing to pay you for? Those are the questions you should ask. Think about it this way. When you find a remote job, that company is looking for employees who can solve problems in a specific area of their business. That’s all.

Either way you look at it, don’t start by selling inexpensive items. That won’t help you make a lot of money or make it fast at all. Aim higher. Go after big problems that you can solve. Even if you do it on the side. And whatever you do, make sure you build a sales funnel to grow that business fast. Sales funnels (aka marketing funnels) are the most powerful way that anyone can grow their business and make money online. Period.

1. Customer Service Jobs

The most obvious type of remote job is customer service. Every company needs skilled customer service reps. If you’re fluent in English and skilled with typical productivity programs, you can easily secure a customer service job. Customer service requires great communication skills. So if you can effectively communicate with others then consider getting a job in customer service.

While most customer service remote jobs don’t allow you to set your own hours, it does give you location freedom. You can work from anywhere as long as you’re available during typical business hours. Even if you live halfway across the world on another continent. That’s the beauty of customer service. But this work is demanding. Especially when you’re dealing with unruly customers.

2. Social Media Jobs

Social media allows you to work from anywhere in the world. This doesn’t just mean you need to get a remote job working for another company. You can do social media for others and still get paid. Either way, if you’re good at social media you should consider this. Especially if you’re interested in doing social media management and running an agency.

Remote jobs in social media run the gamut. You could be in charge of posting new content every day. It might mean that you need to create short-form videos or write great descriptions and post them with photos. It could mean managing a TikTok shop or driving traffic to offers using swipe-up stories. And it could mean many other things.

3. Affiliate Marketing

Every company needs to have an affiliate program if they don’t already have one. That’s because affiliates can drive a lot of sales by tapping into existing audiences. Especially when you’re dealing with super affiliates. You can also find many remote jobs in the affiliate marketing space. You could find something working for one of the big affiliate platforms like Rakuten, CJ Affiliate, ClickBank and others.

Plus, you can also do affiliate marketing by just becoming an affiliate for top companies. For example, our affiliate program has paid out over $140 million to affiliates. To really succeed as an affiliate, you need to build a bridge page that helps you build your email list. Email lists are the most important asset that you can have. Especially in the affiliate space.

4. Phone Sales

Phone sales (also known as telemarketing) is a remote job that could earn you a lot of money. Especially if you’re good on the phone. If you can build rapport and really understand how to listen to prospects, you could do well in telemarketing. Most telemarketers do get a bad rap. After all, it’s a taxing industry that does involve speaking to rude people at times. But then again, most people don’t like being disturbed by sales calls.

However, if you’re good on the phone, this is absolutely one remote job you should consider. You have the potential to earn both a fixed salary and commissions when you sell on the phone. Many companies will gladly pay you a commission on sales. That means that if you’re really good, you could make a lot of money in telemarketing.

5. Writing Jobs

If you’re a copywriter or you’re a skilled writer in another area, you could easily find a remote job in writing. You can write for companies near and far. And you can do it from anywhere in the world. The best part is that you can even mostly do this from your phone. Meaning that you can write content easily on your phone that you can then insert into any business system necessary.

So what types of writing jobs can you find? You can find a job copywriting sales letters, ad verbiage, product descriptions, landing pages, sales funnel upsells, email communications, and more. You can help companies write content for newsletters, ghostwrite books and manuals, and so much more. The options are endless.

6. Web Development

Web developers can make a lot of money working remotely. Everyone knows that. If you’re a skilled web developer, you can live anywhere and earn a good living. You don’t need to be in the United States. You can be on an entirely different continent. As long as you’re a good web developer, you’ll easily find endless opportunities to earn.

Web developers can also monetize their skills in other ways. You don’t only need to get a remote job. You can build online courses about web development, tutor others directly, write books about it, and more. It’s not just about getting a paycheck every single month from a company. Instead, find ways you can leverage time by turning your knowledge and skills into sellable digital products.

7. Graphic Design

Graphic designers can make money working remotely for companies everywhere. Even though AI is starting to take over, companies still need graphic designers (and will likely well into the future). That’s because there’s nothing better than having someone skilled in graphic design to really tackle design-related problems.

Graphic designers can do many things from logos, to brochure designs, sales funnel graphics, print design, manuals, and more. Make sure you have a good graphic design portfolio somewhere online. Today, most graphic designers use Behance to represent their portfolio. Put your best work there and ensure you include a link in your resume when applying for jobs.

8. Prompt Engineering

Prompt engineering is a growing field that will likely increase in size. Especially before artificial general intelligence (AGI) arrives. AGI will likely put an end to most prompt engineering. That’s because AGI will better understand how to serve our needs. Until then, prompt engineering is vital. If you know how to ask the right questions from AI systems like ChatGPT and Grok, you could easily work as a prompt engineer.

To get the best prompt engineering remote jobs, you should have experience in coding and AI systems. If you do have some experience, then great. If you don’t, you can easily learn by watching YouTube videos or consuming online courses geared toward teaching these skills. Spend lots of time asking questions in different ways to see how the answers vary. That will give you deep insight into how your prompts can serve the best solutions to any problems.

9. Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a vital skill that most companies desperately fail at. That’s because SEO is hard. It takes time and hard work. You must know how to do SEO the right way or else it could lead to disastrous results. The trouble? Most major updates to SEO take months to do with very little results. That’s why you could be doing the wrong thing for months and only later find out down the road. Companies understand the importance of this and some invest heavily in SEO.

Most people approach SEO the wrong way. They look for shortcuts and hacks. Instead, you must deliver real value. If you understand how to do that, you can excel in any SEO-related remote job. It takes consistent effort and determination. And it also takes understanding all the ups and downs of how the algorithm works and not trying to chase after shortcuts and deceptive strategies.

10. Real Estate

Real estate is a great way to make money no matter where you’re from. Plus, you can make money in real estate without risking your capital or your credit. You can do that by doing real estate wholesaling. Wholesaling is the art of finding distressed sellers and properties that you can get under contract for well below market value. Then, flipping those contracts to cash buyers.

Many remote jobs exist in real estate as well. That’s because real estate agents are always on the hunt for seller leads. They’re also always looking for ways that they can market and promote existing properties to find the right buyers. If you understand real estate and marketing, consider looking for a remote job in this industry.

11. Virtual Assistant Jobs

One of the most straightforward remote job types are virtual assistant jobs. Virtual assistants are there to help businesses with time-consuming tasks that can easily be outsourced. Because of that, virtual assistants don’t make a lot of money. But if you’re looking for a job that’s straightforward and doesn’t require a lot of qualifications to do, then this is it.

Keep in mind that most virtual assistant jobs are typically outsourced overseas. That means that it’s easy to find lots of these job types online.

12. Data Entry Jobs

Data entry tasks are often straightforward. If you’re good at typing and you have great organizational skills, then consider this remote job. Data entry tasks are usually simple. They’re not complicated and don’t require a lot of creative thinking. It simply means putting your head down and doing the work. Data entry exists in every industry. That’s because every business is data-driven.

Some companies rely more heavily on data than others. They use that data to make vital decisions about marketing, sales, conversions, and more. It often means combining data from multiple systems or across multiple channels into one area. This allows companies to make more informed decisions in every aspect of their business.

13. Transcription

Transcription is popular in a few industries. But it’s primarily something used in the insurance and legal fields. That’s because much of what’s recorded on phone calls and in proceedings must be transcribed to get them on paper. That’s where transcription comes into play.
