There couldn’t be a better time to be in the internet marketing funnel business! I was very fortunate to have had a father who loved selling, marketing, and advertising. He was one of the few pioneer salesman who traveled the country, producing “the book” for every town and city going door-to-door selling “yellow pages” advertising. When the “yellow pages guy” came through the door, business owners stopped whatever they were doing to meet with one of the most important people in their business. Today we take cell phones and google for granted. But there used to be a time when a telephone in every home was something new and people used the freely distributed “yellow pages” directory to show them where to do their shopping. My Dad could look at a yellow pages ad and tell a business owner all about their business and then show them how to make it better and grow their business. How many industries where built on the backs of door-to-door professional sales people? Does anybody remember the UPS sales forces going door-to-door trying to get businesses to use UPS instead of the mail?

Using Ghostery it looks like there are about 12K businesses using this “industry” website. I’m new to ClickFunnels – do you guys have a coach/mentor who could help me tap this market using ClickFunnels?

Great to hear Robert. There’s definitely a place for sales funnels and the more you learn the better you become at building them 🙂

Like a lot folks I found them to be overly intrusive and aggressive and annoying. Frankly, it wasn’t until I got more deeply involved in the online marketing business that I began to see their value. I’ve come to appreciate the lessons learned from companies like yours. Still keeping my opting popup to 30 second, but I’m getting better.
