Form Embed Codes

Form Embed Codes

A lot of people have been wondering how to get a third-party form to work inside of ClickFunnels.  Take note that this is a very temporary lesson because we are not far out from having ClickFunnels do all of your forms and stuff as well.  That will make the meat of this less important in the very, very near future.

Let’s just say that on your sales page you wanted to do an application page.  You’ve probably seen my application pages for my coaching forum and stuff like that before.  People often ask “How did you put a complete form in there?”  It’s actually very simple.  All you do is click to add an element and choose ‘Custom HTML’.  This will add a little ‘Custom HTML’ block to your page, and if you click on that, the settings will open up and you will find a text box where you can put in a custom html code.  This is shown in the picture above.

One of the form managers that I use is called Wufoo.  The site is shown below, and it reveals a list of forms that we use in our company.  I just created one called “ClickFunnels/Funnel Hacking”.  It’s the first on listed.  You would just click to select the form and then click on ‘Share’.  Any form creator software that you use will provide you an embed code.  After clicking on ‘Share’ in Wufoo, I simply scrolled down to the portion of the page where the embed code is provided.  Once you find it, you simply copy it and paste it into the text box referred to above.  The whole form will automatically appear inside of your page.

To reiterate, all you do is add a block to your template and add the ‘Custom HTML’ element.  Then, you simply click on that, and paste the code for your form inside of your settings panel for that element.  The text box you use for this can be found in the ‘Configuration’ portion of those settings.  Your form will then appear inside your page, and you can go ahead and save that change.  It’s just that simple.  Again, that works for Wufoo or any other form manager that you can think of.
