Welcome to another post for Funnels Of The Month where we choose some of the best funnels on the ClickFunnels platform and highlight their features in a dissection each and every month.
With ClickFunnels releasing the new ‘Etison Suite’ since the last FOTM publication, there’s a lot business owners taking their funnel up a notch with unrestricted and complete marketing automation processes and affiliate management systems to backup their funnels.
So without further adieu, let’s get into this month’s funnels…
1. Helping Boys Learn
Funnel Profile:
Company Name: Helping Boys Learn
Funnel Type: Website (Multi-facet)
Physical Product or Digital Product: Physical & Digital
Price Point: Low-Medium
Total Pages In Funnel: Multiple
Funnel URL: https://helpingboyslearn.clickfunnels.com/tools-for-teachers
Funnel Dissection:
This ClickFunnels website is a real beast from the building perspective and how long it would actually take to put something like this together starting from a blank canvas.
First let’s start with the links at the top of the page.
You’ll notice the text links across the top of the page which are simple yet effective for people to navigate across the site with.
The video at the top of the page is a great introduction which I think suits the style of the page quite well.
Having the page set up in two columns also allows room for a sidebar to sit.
Helping boys learn makes effective use of their sidebar on the page by listing various lead magnets and images to capture the viewer’s attention (perhaps while watching the video and consuming the core content of the page).
The images used in the sidebar link to alternative ClickFunnel opt-in landing pages which also remain consistent with branding and are consistent in their message.
One of the sidebar strategies I wanted to quickly highlight is the differentiation in offers. There’s a:
- Webinar
- Tip Sheet
- Quiz
- Book
Many websites offer the same/very similar offers in their sidebar but Helping Boys Learn has done a great job mixing up the offers which will allow them to capture a larger percentage of their audience if some don’t resonate with one of the offer types.
2. Tools For Parents Page
While there’s a large array of pages on their website, I wanted to pick out the “Tools For Teachers” page which does a great job of listing their various resources they offer.
If you go deeper into the links of the books, you’ll notice they all use “2 Step Order Forms” which means they can capture the details of the consumer before they enter any credit card information.
However on this page, there’s clear call to actions throughout the page and products which means that parents can easily access any resources they require.
Possible Funnel Testing Ideas
- The video on the homepage could be made to ‘autoplay’
- The header area takes up a lot of prime real estate therefore it could be worth testing a smaller area with just a logo and move more of the content and call to actions up higher in the page.
- After using some funnel hacking strategies, I’d recommend adding a Facebook retargeting pixel to capture visitors who may have left the page without taking action
- Implementing an exit pop to an ethical bribe to join their email list
For the Teaching Boys one, the first thing that annoyed me was the big blue ‘Buy Now’ button. My thought was, “I just got on the page and you’re already asking me to buy something?” I would use the area to simply describe each product and talk about benefits, testimonials, etc….warm up to me and let me learn about it….
Yeah thats another way you can do it for sure. Providing social proof is critical when it comes to building out the landing page.
Thanks for breaking these down, Stephen!
Was wondering if there should just be one CTA on page?
