Top Apps to Build High-Converting Landing Pages

Looking for a good Leadpages alternative?

Today we are going to discuss ten apps that you can use to build landing pages for your business!

#1: ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels is an all-in-one marketing platform that has everything you need to launch, manage, and grow an online business.

Sales funnels are at the heart of everything we do: the primary purpose of our software is to help you build profitable sales funnels.

That’s why it comes with a library of proven sales funnel, landing page and sales page templates that have been optimized for conversions.

You can edit those templates with our drag-and-drop page editor and customize them according to your needs.

And if you would rather build custom sales funnels from scratch, you can do that with our funnel builder.

Email marketing is an essential component of any well-designed sales funnel because it’s how you tie all the pages in your funnel together.

You can use our email marketing functionality to grow your email list, nurture relationships with potential and existing customers and sell products and services to your subscribers.

ClickFunnels also includes a website builder that you can use to create a business website that is optimized for converting visitors into leads.

Then there’s our CRM functionality that makes it easy to keep track of everything that’s happening in your sales pipeline. It’s a great way to for service businesses to stay organized, save time and convert more leads into customers.

There’s also an online course functionality that you can use to create and sell online courses and a membership site functionality that you can use to build an exclusive online community.

And if you are interested in selling physical products, you can launch an online store with our ecommerce functionality. We even partnered with Zendrop to make it as easy as possible for our users to start dropshipping.

Finally, our A/B testing functionality enables you to optimize your entire sales funnel for conversions, from your offers to your landing pages to your emails to your sales pages.

#2: Unbounce

Unbounce is a landing page builder that is known for its emphasis on conversion rate optimization.

Its core functionality includes a landing page template library, a drag-and-drop page editor, pop-ups, sticky bars, and A/B testing.

The company has also incorporated artificial intelligence into its software with AI copywriting and AI optimization functionalities.

AI copywriting features enable you to instantly generate copy for your ads, landing pages, emails, and more.

Meanwhile, AI optimization features enable you to automatically route visitors to the landing pages which have been proven to work best for people with similar demographic traits.

You can test unlimited landing page variations, create high-converting landing pages for each customer segment, and then automatically direct visitors who belong to that segment to the relevant landing page. This functionality is impressive!

#3: Convertri

Convertri is a funnel builder best known for its page loading speed.

The company even claims that it’s the fastest funnel builder in the world but we can’t say whether that statement is accurate or not because determining that would require extensive testing.

However, pages built with it do load extremely fast, which is likely to have a positive impact on their conversion rates.

Convertri’s core functionality includes five funnel templates that cover the most common use cases, more than 200 page templates, and a page editor that gives you unprecedented control over how your pages look.

It also offers an exceptional video functionality that enables you to embed videos without slowing down your pages.

Sure, video content is still going to have some impact on your page loading speed, but that impact is going to be negligible compared to using YouTube’s video player. It’s literally a 10x difference!

In addition to that, there are a bunch of other neat features such as video backgrounds, interactive videos, sticky videos, timed videos, and more.

If you intend to rely heavily on video content then you might want to go with this funnel builder because it’s unrivaled when it comes to video.

It’s also worth mentioning that the company has built its own content delivery network (CDN) to ensure speed, robustness, and security. If Convertri’s system goes down, your funnels will stay up!

#4: Landingi

Landingi is a landing page builder that puts emphasis on collecting and analyzing data.

Its core functionality includes a template library, a page editor, and A/B testing.

Meanwhile, its event tracker feature enables you to collect granular data that you can then analyze to better understand user behavior. That can help you optimize your landing pages for conversions.

There are also several AI features: you can use artificial intelligence to generate landing page copy, optimize your content for SEO, and remove backgrounds from images.

Finally, there’s an e-commerce functionality, but it appears to be pretty basic and is designed for selling digital products as opposed to physical ones.

In our view, while Landingi is an okay landing page builder, there’s nothing special about it. Sure, the event tracker is neat, but if you are super into conversion rate optimization, Unbounce would probably be a better choice.

#5: Instapage

Instapage is a landing page builder that seems to be geared primarily toward helping its users convert paid traffic into leads and customers.

Its core functionality includes a template library with more than 500 landing page templates, a page editor, and A/B testing.

Then there’s the personalization functionality that you can use to personalize visitor experience based on the visitor’s intent.

This functionality enables you to automatically match the copy of your landing page to visitor-level data such as keywords, demographics, and firmographics.

There’s also the AdMap functionality that you can use to visualize the structure of your ad campaigns, evaluate both the pre-click and post-click stages for ad-to-page relevance, and map your ads to personalized landing page experiences.

If your marketing strategy is based on paid advertising, you might want to consider going with Instapage, especially if you are also catering to several distinct customer segments.

#6: Carrd

Carrd is a website builder that was designed to help you create one-page websites, including profile pages, portfolio pages, and landing pages.

It offers a library of page templates and a page editor that you can use to customize them.

While the landing page templates look good, it’s unclear to us whether they have been optimized for conversions.

If you want to start building an email list for a hobby project, Carrd might be an option worth considering.

However, in that case it would probably make more sense to go with GetResponse, ConverKit, Squarespace, or Wix.

#7: GetResponse

GetResponse is an all-in-one marketing platform.

It started out as an email marketing app and then over the years, the company expanded the scope of its software to what it is today.

Considering that, it shouldn’t be surprising that its email marketing functionality is GetResponse’s greatest strength.

Its basic features enable you to collect email addresses, set up autoresponder sequences, and send one-off broadcast emails when you need to announce something time-sensitive.

Meanwhile, the more advanced marketing automation features allow you to personalize your emails by creating workflows with behavioral triggers.

There’s also a template library that features over 100 email templates, a drag-and-drop email editor that you can use to customize those templates, and a content calendar that provides an overview of your email marketing strategy.

In addition to that, GetResponse provides a drag-and-drop website builder that comes with 100+ templates and a drag-and-drop landing page builder that comes with 200+ templates. You can also use AI to generate your website and landing pages.

There’s also a funnel builder that comes with funnel templates. It’s worth noting that these templates include sales copy and high-quality images.

Finally, the platform offers a paid newsletter functionality, an online course functionality and a webinar functionality.

In our view, GetResponse is great as an email marketing app. If you want to start building an email list for a hobby project, it’s an option that’s worth considering.

However, as an all-in-one platform, it seems to be pretty basic so it’s probably not the best choice if you already have a product or service to sell.

#8: ConvertKit

ConvertKit is an email marketing platform that was designed to help creators grow and monetize their audiences.

It offers dozens of email templates, an email editor, and various email marketing features that range from basic to advanced.

ConvertKit also provides a landing page builder that comes with a variety of landing page templates.

Then there’s the opt-in form builder that features form templates for the most common use cases.

As for the monetization features, you can use ConvertKit to run a paid newsletter, sell digital products, and offer services such as coaching.

In addition to that, the company has built its own sponsor network where it helps creators find premium advertisers and manage relationships with them. In exchange, it asks for a 20% cut of the total sponsorship revenue plus a 3.5% payment processing fee.

ConvertKit has a free plan with a 10,000 subscriber limit which makes it a particularly appealing option for creators who are just starting out.

In fact, if you are a creator – whether a new or established one – then this platform might be the best choice for you!

#9: Squarespace

Squarespace used to be one of the leading website builders but has since evolved into an all-in-one marketing platform.

It offers a ton of beautiful website and landing page templates and a drag-and-drop page editor.

Alternatively, you can use artificial intelligence to create your website. AI will ask you to make some decisions and then generate a website based on them.

Squarespace’s template designs are top-notch. If you really value aesthetics, know that this platform caters to that.

However, we aren’t sure if these templates have been optimized for conversions. Unfortunately, just because a website or a landing page looks great doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s going to convert well.

Squarespace also provides email marketing, blogging, and SEO functionalities that you can use to grow your audience, email list, and customer base.

As for monetization, this platform enables you to offer memberships, and paywall content, sell online courses, accept bookings, and create an online store.

Overall, we would say that Squarespace is a great website builder. If you want to create a website or a landing page for a hobby project, it’s one of the best options for that.

However, it remains to be seen how it’s going to fare as an all-in-one marketing platform, especially given that the company appears to be prioritizing aesthetics above conversions, at least from our perspective.

#10: Wix

Wix is another popular website builder that has evolved into an all-in-one marketing platform.

Its template library features over 900 website and landing page templates that you can customize with its drag-and-drop page editor.

Alternatively, you can use its AI website builder. It has a chat interface: you can “talk” to the AI, explain what you have in mind and it will generate a website for you. That’s pretty cool!

There are also SEO, email marketing, appointment booking, customer relationship management (CRM), and e-commerce functionalities.

Arguably, Wix is Squarespace’s main competitor and just like its rival, it shines as a website builder.

However, as an all-in-one marketing platform, Wix appears to be lagging behind Squarescape in terms of functionality and seems to be kind of half-baked in that regard.

In our view, both of these apps are great when it comes to creating websites and landing pages for hobby projects. However, we wouldn’t recommend either if your goal is to build a business.
