Thanks for picking that up! So it really depends on what type of funnel you have and where traffic is coming from to your funnel. Some advertising platforms don’t like pop-ups while if you’re promoting with someone else’s email they wouldn’t care. So just be weary of the context of promotion you’re doing so you don’t accidentally get yourself banned from an advertising platform. The real answer is, split test. Try both and see which one converts higher for you. Hope that helps 🙂

I have to mention something that confused me…In No3 of your list, at the 3rd bullet point you mention “Do not have pop-ups on your landing page and videos that have auto-play. The user should always have control of what they want to read and/or watch”.
However, at the “Funnel of the month” series, you do suggest us to have an auto play video or pop ups on the landing page.
Please, un-confuse me! 🙂
