So with a lot of work behind the scenes for months on end, we’re very proud to announce the very first release of our complete ClickFunnels suite, encompassing everything you already know and love with ClickFunnels and brand new additions Actionetics (Marketing Automation) and Backpack (Affiliate Management).
It’s a very exciting day here at ClickFunnels as we finally announce and roll out publicly Actionetics and Backpack for the very first time. You may have heard of or seen some of the features already, or you may not be familiar with them at all.
So before I go any further, please watch and enjoy both explainer videos for Actionetics and Backpack below:

Yep, so are we.
So let’s discuss some of the highlights of both Actionetics and BackPack and what they’ll be able to bring to your business.
Actionetics: Contact Profiles
The first page is the contact profiles page where you’ll be able to see everyone who’s opted into your lists across ClickFunnels. This is where we’ll be able to see how many people join/unsubscribe to your lists and where we’ll also be able to see information about your contacts.
On this page, you’ll also be able to import contacts, search for different people and scroll through your subscribers and customers on the page.
As you can see, this is the individual profile which you can view when you go into one of your subscriber’s or customer’s profiles.
The first area of this page which you’ll see is the ‘Action Score’ which is a score assigned to every single person who enters into any of your funnels in ClickFunnels and has to do with a bunch of different variables. The main ones are recency, frequency, monetary value and their social score.
You’ll be able to hover over the different bands within the score area and get an insight into what % the contact is sitting at for some of the different variables.
E.g. With a frequency of 1%, this shows you that the customer has not purchased very often from the user.
Under the General Info area of the page, you can also see a lot of valuable data which is pulled for that contact which can help you understand that contacts movements and engagement throughout your sales funnel.
Then you’ve also got multiple tabs on the left hand side bar which allow you to see the breakdown of:
- Purchases made by the contact (also if an affiliate sent them to your offer, you can see which affiliate made the sale for you)
- Memberships the contact is involved in
- If the contact is in any Actionetics email automations
- Which pages the contact has visited recently within your sales funnel
Actionetics: Email Lists
The next area of Actionetics we’ll be looking at is Email lists.
Email lists are the core of any online business as you segment and build your contact base with visitors to leads, and leads to customers.
In Actionetics, you’ll be able to see all the different lists that are being used and import your existing lists for other autoresponders (up to 100,000 contacts per account, please contact ClickFunnels support if you require more).
Actionetics: Email Broadcasts
As you start growing your list, you’re going to want to start communicating with your contacts and begin to build rapport and a relationship.
To do this you’re going to need to start sending out email broadcasts to your email list. You’ll be able to customize the information of the broadcast along with selecting a template to get you started.
One of the most powerful Actionetics pieces of functionality is its email builder. We’ve all been there and used some of the most unfriendly email builders and designers on the market.
And if you’re like me, you’ll really appreciate the new ClickFunnels email builder which emulates the landing page editor and is extremely easy to use. It uses a streamlined version of the landing page editor to build email templates and broadcasts which are formatted perfectly for email clients and on movile.
As you can see from the screenshot above, all you need to do is drag and drop the elements you’d like to use and your email is ready go live.
Actionetics: Action Funnels
The final feature I want to introduce to you guys today is action funnels. Action funnels are another extremely powerful part of Actionetics which allows you to take internal and external actions on your list.
Internal actions might include removing people from your prospect list if they subscribe to a new list after purchasing a product for people who only are in a particular funnel.
Alternatively an external action might be sending people with a social following of x an SMS reminder about a webinar coming up.
Action funnels allows you to dig deeper and be as technical as you’d like to be with your email list.
Backpack: Affiliate Overview
So within Backpack which is our affiliate management platform, there’s A TON of cool features. But what we’ll cover in this post is some of the key features of Backpack and how you can take advantage of them (the rest you’ll be able to go into your account and play with…trust me it’s really addictive).
Once you open your affiliate account overview, some of the key metrics you’ll be able to immediately see include:
- How many affiliates you have in your program
- How many sales they’ve made you
- The total commissions of those sales
- How much you’ve paid to affiliates
- How many affiliates are active
- And much more…
Backpack: Affiliate Management
The next tab on the left side of Backpack is the manage affiliates tab.
This area of Backpack allows you to manage all the affiliates which are currently signed up and promoting for your product(s).
You’ll be able to see two main functions for each affiliate that’s signed up and those are ‘Login As’ and ‘Edit’.
You can login as an affiliate to see how everything looks from a specific affiliate’s perspective and you can also go through and edit any affiliate details as necessary.
Backpack: Commission Plans
On the commission plans page you can setup how much you’ll be paying your affiliates who promote your product which you’ve setup in ClickFunnels.
For example, if you’re running a webinar, you can setup a two tier affiliate plan where affiliates make 35% per sale they refer, then any affiliates they recommend who make a sale, they will also receive 5% on that too.
Backpack works together as one in a very smooth and well oiled machine to make sure your affiliate program works for you and with you along your product launches and product offerings.
Backpack: Review Commissions
The review commissions page is designed to show you the commissions which are being made within your affiliate program based on the products you’re offering, affiliates promoting and so fourth.
On this page you’ll be able to see, keep track and even export your affiliate commissions into a CSV document.
Backpack: Affiliate Payments
This is one of the most important pages in your Backpack account, it’s the page where you manage your affiliate payments so you can pay out your affiliate commissions.
Backpack makes it super easy to be able to see which affiliates of yours still need to be paid.
Backpack: Affiliate Settings
The final page is the affiliate settings area of Backpack. Here you’ll be able to move and customize your affiliate page by sorting your affiliate pages.

If you’re already an existing ClickFunnels customer:
- You can expect the option to upgrade to the complete Etison Suite (ClickFunnels, Actionetics & Backpack) within your account very shortly!
If you’re not a customer of Clickfunnels:
- You’ll be able to pick up the entire Etison Suite (ClickFunnels, Actionetics & Backpack) from October 1st (more details to follow)
Overall, all of us here at ClickFunnels are extremely excited to share with you what we’ve been working on for many months and bring you a complete online marketing solution for your marketing and automation needs.

This is a marketers dream and I can finally do away with a lot of 3rd party programs that I have and save me a ton of money (in my case around $10,000 per year), although i do realise there will be a cost for Actionetics.

Even though I am just getting started with Affiliate Marketing I’m so excited about Backback and Actionetics. Now I can stop researching all those others like AWeber, GetResponder and all those email providers. Having everything in one place with one account is going to be AWESOME!
Hey Mary — I have used Aweber for a few years and I am also excited to move everything over to Actionetics. However, I have always sent plain text emails and never used any of the templates Aweber provided.
With the new Email Editor its super easy to make awesome emails really fast. That’s what I am most excited about is importing email list to Actionetics and sending out broadcasts in a totally new way. Woohoo!

Can you guys focus on landing pages and integrating better with current email providers?
Backpack looks cool (and helpful), but i’m afraid you guys are gonna get caught up trying to build an ESP when there are lots of them out there already (that work just fine), but there are a lot of things within the landing page editor & integrations that still need to be fixed.
Also – how do you actually make affiliate payments w/ backpack?
Hey Joel, we are definitely putting more of a focus on Landing Pages and continuously building up the editor with the new update and beyond.
I do understand your concerns, although I am not sure what ESP stands for, however we are building out ClickFunnels in a way that can scale with you.
Essentially think of Full Etison Suite as ClickFunnels + Actionetics + Backpack which all work independently and together. Also this helps us to avoid your concern allowing us to focus on each part separately.
Backpack is integrated with Stripe to make affiliate payments to any number of tiers or commission plans for your projects.

What payment processor does the affiliate program run through and how ?
Does the sales funnel have a one click upsell and a one click downsell payment button , that doesn’t require a another set of data entry through Paypal etc

Hey Paul,
By affiliate creatives, do you mean banners/graphics and swipe copy?
If so, then yes on our Affiliate Area templates we have elements that allow for easy copy and paste for banners/swipe copy for your affiliates.
We also have elements for Affiliate Links or Affiliate Link builders.
Backpack is currently using Stripe and could soon be using more options.
To be honest I wish I could answer your last question but you will have to look through our support articles on Backpack or submit a support ticket to get a better answer.

Are Backpack and Actionetics additional cost or part of the package?
ClickFunnels on its own is $97/month while the Etison Suite (ClickFunnels, Actionetics and Backpack) is $297/month. However during our launch period there’s promotional pricing available too beginning October 1st.

Impressive. I would love to be able to move everything in here and move away from ConfusionSoft (InfusionSoft). What a beating that system is.
Two questions:
First question, if I start using Actionetics as my email broadcast tool instead of InfusionSoft, are all the email sequences (auto-responders) that I set up linked to specific funnels so that when I clone an entire funnel, all of my Actionetics email sequences are cloned as well?
Second question, can I important my large mailing list into Actionetics and stat using it instead of InfusionSoft and can assume that a “Double Opt-in” is NOT required. Obviously that would be a deal breaker. I don’t want to sacrifice a large percentage of my list with a double-opt-in the way some email providers require (aweber and mailchimp for example)

That’s impressive! It could replace my Infusionsoft setup. However, I have some concerns about the way you manage contacts: lists.
The advanced systems use tags.
If you have lists, you have to remember where who is there and why.
So… is it going to be managed with separated lists? With the risk to have double entries? (same contacts in multiple lists).

That’s a great suggestion and we appreciate the feedback. At this stage with everything being rolled out, tagging customers isn’t specifically available in the existing setup but putting a feature request in will speed up the process of having it implemented into ClickFunnels.

My question about stripe is more about how you make payments to affiliates than how you receive them yourself.
You should also have a “subscribe to comments” button on here, so I don’t have to check responses manually (wp has a simple plugin for this).

Can subscribers within Clickfunnels manage their subscriptions like standard autoresponders – eg Unsubscribe etc

So, if I redirect a Clickfunnels page to a Word Press page with the Clickfunnels plugin, will the Backpack affiliate links work for tracking affiliate referrals? Or does the page URL have to have the Clickfunnels extension in order for Backpack affiliate links to track properly?

I work too hard to live with a cheating partner ..As soon as I saw the signs I was able to get a PI who recommended me to Jackthemighty@programmer,net who helped me to hack my husband’s internet habits..He hacked my husband email,phone calls,text and whatsapp messages, dating website(tinder) and found the truth about him..I am happy now that he is gone from my life,at least I can breath now!! Tell him Teresa .After getting screwed by fake scammers.Dont know how they did it.
So when the guy on the page says click the button below and this will take care of your email marketing & come to find out – IT ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT!!! It’s just a hookup between TWO OTHER services… and you wanna charge an extra $100 per month on top of that other service charging $100 per month on top of the other service charging $100 per month… and it doesn’t take care of email… F!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!! GEEZ… you’re in the hole!!!
